Before and After: 2009 vs 2012by ~BurlesqueZombie

I decided to do half of my unfinished Good vs Evil project from back in 2012. I didn't really love this picture as much as I should have. I just let it fade away and never completed it but I loved the story behind it. Starcrossed lovers under the solar eclipse as evil creeps around them. Enemies sworn to fight and kill one another, lovers fighting against that. Good versus evil has a lot of gray area and that's what I was originally trying to convey on so many different levels with this picture.

Changes:
Spathi symbol on the ribbon to make it more accurate.
Head to make it less... sucky.
Arm to make it less freaky looking.
Flower to make it more realistic.
Removed the straps on the dress.
Gave her some sandwiches.
Added colors, shading, and the like.
Added in the eclipse.

I think I have improved... Maybe one day I'll do the ENTIRE Good vs Evil picture... Give me three more years so I can learn how to draw a decent male.

The Spathi symbol and Dark Hunter symbol are from the Dark Hunter series created by Sherrilyn Kenyon which was the inspiration behind the original picture.
