I made this icon for one of my roleplay accounts on Youtube.
It is a manipulation of Slave of Hades 2 by DKCissner whose artwork I lust over. Seriously, DKCissner is an amazing artist.
I played around with Gimp agian. Changed the background color to an off-orange, then airbrushed it with black to give it some texture. Then I got ADD and tweaked the saturation on the shirt until It was a shade of purple that I liked.
After that I started playing around with the Sparks brush, airbrushing the background to add highlights and a bit more texture. And then made the heart.
It kind of glows, doesn't it?
So...Yah.
